Every engagement starts with a walk-through. We document entry points, lobbies, parking, lighting, and the hours that carry risk for the property, then write post orders specific to the site. For retail and mixed-use, briefings cover de-escalation, loss-prevention awareness, and patrol coverage of parking areas. All patrol and access activity is logged digitally; incidents are written up during the shift and reviewed by a supervisor before delivery on the schedule set in the contract.

Armed posts are staffed only where the contract requires and the officer holds a valid BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit (Business and Professions Code Sections 7583.22–7583.23).

In a mixed-use development, the tricky part is the hand-off between uses, retail closing while residents come and go and offices empty out, so a patrol pattern that covers all of it on shifting timing, logged on GPS, matters more than a single fixed post.
